Several years after the Rockman.EXE series ended with Rockman.EXE 6, and months after the release of Ryuusie no Rockman 3, which almost definitely is the closing chapter of the Ryuusei series, as stated by those who played it, Capcom has announced that a new Rockman game will arrive on the DS, Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star. Though information is very scarce, it looks like it'll be a cross over between Rockman.EXE and Ryuusei no Rockman.

Wow, we were all anticipating a new Rockman after Ryuusei apparently ended, though it's not confirmed yet. Especially after a new boss design contest was held for a new Rockman game, in which the winner was a boss called Clock Genius, it was stated that this will be for a new Rockman RPG on the DS. But a Ryuusei-EXE cross over is just unexpected! It sounds rather appealing to me. People are moaning that EXE should've remained dead, while others say a cross over is such a bad idea. I don't know, I think it's actually gonna be good. And that boss design winner will most probably be featured here, but that's about all we can assume as of yet.

It's said that the RPG will most likely be released in Japan later this year. I only hope that it makes it outside of Japan...
